Mwesigwa Ryvin is a 13-year-old young man in Primary 6. Ryvin enjoys Mathematics and hopes to become a civil engineer. He is humble, social, and kind to others, and his health is fair. Ryvin enjoys playing football and helps at home by washing utensils and fetching water. He likes eating chips and chicken. Ryvin lives with his mother and stepfather in a household of three adults and seven people. His mother is in good health and works as a nursery teacher. His father is separated from the family and his health is unknown. The family’s income remains low, making continued sponsorship support very helpful.

Kisakye Sarah
Kisakye Sarah is a 9-year-old girl in Primary 1 at Kanonko Primary School. Sarah is known as a humble and respectful child who relates well with everyone around her. She works hard in class and is described as very smart and bright in her schoolwork. Her favorite subject is Shading, and she hopes to become a nurse in the future so she can help care for people in her community. At home, Sarah enjoys singing and helps by cleaning the compound. She lives in Ntikula with her elder sister, who heads the household. Their mother earns a small income working in other people’s gardens as a peasant farmer.

Nabulya Francescar
Nabulya Francescar is a 21-year-old young woman currently studying Medicine and Surgery at university. Her earlier aspiration of becoming a doctor has now become her active course of study. She has a strong interest in Chemistry and remains focused on completing her medical training. Francescar lives with her parents and grandparents in a shared household that includes a total of eight adults. Although she has family support, the size of the household and limited resources make it challenging to meet the costs of her university education. She is dedicated, hardworking, and committed to her studies as she works toward qualifying as a doctor.

Mubiru Charles
Mubiru Charles is a 22-year-old young man studying for a BSc in Accounting and Finance at university. He is one of the first students sponsored through True Africa and was very young when his sponsorship began. Charles has always been humble, friendly, and cheerful, with a strong dedication to his education. Throughout his studies, he has remained attentive and committed. During school breaks, Charles stays with his elderly grandmother, who is very poor, in poor health, and now lives alone. She requires additional monthly assistance. Charles remains grateful for the support he receives and hopeful about his future.
